LAS CRUCES, NM – January 18, 2024 – Film Las Cruces today announced that for the second year in a row, the City of Las Cruces has been named one of the Best Places to Live and Work as a Moviemaker in 2024 by MovieMaker Magazine. MovieMaker compiles its annual prestigious list based on surveys, production spending, tax incentives, additional research, and personal visits.
President of Film Las Cruces and New Mexico State Senator, Jeff Steinborn applauded the national recognition Las Cruces is gaining “We are so proud of our community for this accomplishment. It’s a testament to our years of hard work showcasing our beautiful authentic locations, talented crew and filmmakers, and strategically building our state’s film incentive to support up and coming film centers like Las Cruces. We’re going to keep working hard to grow these jobs in Las Cruces and Dona Ana County.”
