“In Our Blood” Special Screening

Utopia Distribution and Film Las Cruces are partnering up to bring the premiere of the feature film, In Our Blood, to the Allen Theaters Cineport 10 in Las Cruces, NM on October 17, 2025. Filmed entirely in Las Cruces, In Our Blood is a celebration of local talent, storytelling, and the vibrant film culture of southern New Mexico.

Directed by Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Pedro Kos (Rebel Hearts, Lead Me Home) in his first narrative feature, In Our Blood takes filmmaker Emily Wyland (Brittany O’Grady) and cinematographer Danny (E. J. Bonilla) to shoot an intimate documentary about reuniting with Emily’s estranged mother (Alanna Ubach) after a decade apart. When her mother suddenly goes missing, possibly succumbing to the addictions that first tore her family apart, Emily and Danny must piece together increasingly sinister clues to find her before it’s too late.

Film Las Cruces has coordinated with Utopia distribution for the special screening. Residents in Doña Ana County will have a special opportunity to receive a sneak peek of the film before its official release. Seats are limited and will be prioritized for locals who worked on or assisted the film production during their time in southern New Mexico.
